On October 13, Apple will present 4 models of iPhone 12. Here is what is known about them

On October 13 there will be a new presentation of Apple, which should include smartphones from iPhone 12 series. There are more and more rumors about these devices recently, and sources are rarely unanimous in their forecasts. Here is what is known about the novelties.

This year Apple is to present four new smartphones at once:

• iPhone 12 mini - 5.4 inch screen
• iPhone 12 is a 6.1-inch screen
• iPhone 12 Pro is a 6.1-inch screen
• The iPhone 12 Pro Max is a 6.7 inch screen

All four models will be equipped with OLED-matrix, but the manufacturers will have different: iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 is BOE, and Pro-versions have Samsung. Probably, they will differ in characteristics.

Also, all devices will get a new case with flat faces like the latest iPad Pro and Air. For more affordable models, it will be made of aluminum, and for more expensive models, it will be made of steel. Screen "bangs" will remain, but in the most compact mini-version it will be more visible. In the Pro-versions or even all novelties may appear new glass coating display with increased strength, called "Ceramic Shield Front Cover".

iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 will be available in five colors: black, white, red, blue and green. iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max will be available in gold, silver, graphite and blue.

As a processor in all four models of iPhone 12 can be used the latest 5nm Apple A14 Bionic or its modification. This chip was first used in the new iPad Air introduced in September. The chip features a new quad-core graphics gas pedal and a 16-core Neural Engine for AI-based operations.

iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 will get a double main camera, and Pro-versions are attributed a triple module (wide angle, extra wide angle, telephoto) with LiDAR. According to one data, on the flagships will appear four- or even five-fold optical zoom, while on more affordable models will improve digital zoom, combining multiple frames with different zoom levels.

Based on the ultra-wide module in iPhone 12 Pro can be implemented macro mode, which allows you to focus at a distance of 2.2 cm from the object. The portrait video mode may also appear, allowing you to blur the background in real time.

Working time on one charge will increase by at least an hour - this applies to Pro versions of smartphones. But the 5.4-inch iPhone 12 mini will work less than the iPhone 11. Probably, the autonomy had to sacrifice in favor of compactness.

All smartphones will support wireless charging. Pro-versions should also have a reverse power supply that allows charging the AirPods case. There will be no standard power adapters in the kit, as well as traditional wired headphones.
